This hotel is a landmark on Waikiki Beach, due to its pink colour. It was first opened in 1927 and was renovated in 2008. Close to the hotel is Honolulu and also Pearl Harbour, with its sad history from World War II. The hotel has a private area on Waikiki Beach, 2 swimming pools, gardens, parking (extra cost), elevators, meeting rooms, bars, restaurants, gift shops and internet access. The property is smoke free. Close to the hotel is also the Kapiolani Park with tennis courts, sports field and a zoo. For golf players there is the Ala Wai Golf Course with a 18-hole course, at a distance of 1,5 km approximately.
